Wedding Trailer

The best Christmas gift I got this year. As I sat in the dark with just the glow of the Christmas tree, I watched this video by myself and cried (which is so unlike me). My wedding day was magical. And those who know my story know just how special the day was. Christmas, for me, didn't happen yesterday. It happened when my daddy got to walk me down the isle and give me away to the man of my dreams.

Week Fifty Two

This year I challenged myself to make a video during Christmas that used all motion shots. Here is the result, our Christmas in 2015. I love the little family I'm creating, the family I come from, and the family I got to marry into. I hope I continue to make these in the years to come.

South Carolina

Near the end of August I went to South Carolina for training for work and D came with me.  My training was in Greenville and it was a super cute little town.

There was a really nice park right in the middle of downtown.  It was so cool.

After my training, we headed to Charleston for the weekend.  We drove there Friday and rushed to Angle Oak right as a huge storm was coming in.  Angle Oak is the oldest tree west of the Mississippi River.  It was stunning!

We only spent about 15 minutes there and then the thunder let lose.  We made it to the car just in time and then sat in the car for 30 minutes waiting for it to pass.

And then this beautiful rainbow showed up.

Saturday morning I woke up and watched the sunrise on the beach.  D slept in...

He missed out.

We spent most of the day at Boone Hall Plantation.  It is best known as being Ali's parents house in The Notebook.

They have the most beautiful trees that line the drive way.

I love him!

Such an awesome little trip!  I miss the ocean already.

Sorry for the really crappy video.  I took it on my phone and taped it vertical (guess it distorts the view and horizontal is better.)  But, I just had to share it.  Abby loves people food and often begs, but this cry is a new one that she has picked up lately.

Week 12

Apparently this months 52 week project is how many photos can I take with Abby month.  Seriously, the last 3 weeks Abby has been in the photo with me.  (Last week she just happened to be in it, but still.)

Saturday was a lazy, outdoor work day.  We cleaned the lawn mower (it hasn't had much exercise in the last 2 summers due to family situations.)  Of course, since everyone was outside, Abby wanted to be outside too but she wanted someone to pay attention to her.  So I got the bubbles and we went to town.  She had so much fun and really wore herself out.

It was a good Saturday, spring day,
