Holding my niece, my best friend’s daughter, for the very
first time just a few hours after she was born.
Being an only child, I had to create my own siblings. It is such a great thing to see someone who
has been through so much with you, become a mom for the first time. I cannot wait to watch this precious little
girl grow and see how she changes the world.

52 List : List
This year I thought I’d attempt a 52 List project where you
compile 52 things to do and complete 1 item each week for a year. But, some of my ideas overlap, giving me some
weeks with nothing and other weeks with multiples. So my list is going to be a bucket list for
2016, more or less. 52 items to complete
in one year, with no real deadline. Of
course I want to complete this all in one year, but I’m allowing myself to not
stress over it and just do as much as I can.
If I complete all of it, awesome, half of it, great. The point is to take a to-do list (fun stuff
like dates, house projects, and things we’ve talked about doing, but never
have) and make it as fun as possible. I’ll
try to document as much as possible. We
will see how this goes!
