The Squaw Creek
Edition
Last weekend we went to a nature reserve, Squaw Creek. Even though Squaw Creek is a place for
all wild animals, they are specifically known as a wild bald eagle
reserve. This year we went for their
eagle days, which happen during the first weekend in December. This year we saw about seventeen bald
eagles, the most we have ever seen in one trip! We even witnessed two eagles call to each other and fly
around over our heads. It was
stunning.
Season
This December season is surprisingly warm.
Colorful
I wasn’t sure how this photo would turn out, but I love that
you can see the white head and tail and a hint of his yellow beak.
