Dad decided mom wanted German Chocolate Cake for her birthday because it was my grandpa's favorite.  Meaning dad really wanted German Chocolate Cake.  But that's ok.  It got all of us to spend the evening together in the kitchen baking.  Who knew my dad could be so domestic!

Project Life 2013 | Week Fourteen

 Welcome to Project Life Week Fourteen!  Love this week!

 This week I used a photo for my date card.  I love this idea and plan to do it more in the future.  All of the photos on the left side were from our Easter celebration.  The Easter card is from Becky Higgins holiday collection and the other quote card is one I created in photoshop.

 The right side is form the rest of the week.  I was incredibly sick for the first 3 days.  The other photos were from my Saturday fun.

Project Life 2013 | Week Twelve and Week Thirteen

 Welcome to Project Life Week Twelve!  I really love how this week turned out!

I added a St. Pats filler from Becky Higgins holiday collection.  I really didn’t celebrate St. Pats, but I wanted to make sure it was represented in this book.  This week I set up my shelf.  It needed a little bit of cleaning to get the dirt off and cleaner windows and then I worked on decorating it.  It will be fun to see how this space evolves in the future.

Last week it was really warm and then it got cold this week.

I also added a Note From the Universe into this week.  I love getting these little daily emails and incorporating them into project life.

This week’s song was I Will Wait by Mumford & Sons.  Love it!

The right side has a lot of odds and ends.  A photo from the coffee shop.  I ordered the hello stamp form Elise and used her idea of stamping it all over the page to add little notes.  I hope to do this through out the book.

I also picked up my bridesmaid dress.  This is me and my friend Ashton showing off the dresses.

I love see thru fillers and painted this chipboard letter M just for fun.

This is the week I got my first massage and I added a little note about how awful it was.  You can see the story here.

Project Life 2013 | Week Thirteen

Welcome to Project Life Week Twelve!  This week was special.  I got to spend the day at the Omaha Zoo with some awesome kids and I marked off a ton of things on my 101 list.

The left side has a few instagram photos from Sunday.  I just love the black and white photo of me and Abby!  It seems to sum up our relationship perfectly.  Haha!

I also added some photos and stories about our trip to the zoo, some that didn’t fit into the insert.

I added an insert to showcase some of my favorite photos taken at the zoo.  Pretty simple.  The tab on the insert is leftover from the December Daily kit from last year.

This week’s music was Tell Me a Story by Phillip Phillips.

I wanted to be sure I added some smaller moments of life like vacuuming and spending the afternoon with a good book and some popcorn, lazy Saturday mornings with Abby and getting Easter tulips from my aunt.

This was Easter weekend and I dyed some eggs for the holiday.

And there you have it. My weeks 12 and 13.  Hopefully I’ll be caught up soon!
